Over a three year period of time it got harder and harder to push my SF260 up a 2% grade into the hangar. Finally I had to do something. When I changed the tires I noted that the brake caliper pucks were hard to move in and out. Finally I took the brake housing off and used air pressure to remove the pucks. I cleaned the housing with #400 emory cloth and put on new "O" rings. They are part # 010-02700. Then I reinstalled them and the wheel would turn freely after applying and then releasing the brakes. Before doing this the wheel would turn freely until I put the brake housings on the wheel. What a relief to have a plane I can manage by myself again.
